CERN A GINEVRA: TIROCINI PER DIPLOMATI RETRIBUITI A 2800 EURO AL MESE
Il laboratorio del CERN organizza tirocini retribuiti per i diplomati di istituti tecnici della durata di un anno con la possibilità di rinnovo per un secondo anno.
Come requisiti, sono richiesti un diploma di un istituto tecnico come ragioneria, perito industriale, perito elettrico o perito meccanico e una conoscenza sufficiente della lingua inglese o francese.
L’esperienza sarà nel centro internazionale del CERN di Ginevra, e prevede oltre alle attività on-the-job, anche dei corsi di inglese o francese con l’affiancamento di un tutor per il tirocinio.
Il progetto pilota prevede una retribuzione di 2800 euro al mese oltre ad alloggio ed assicurazione sanitaria.
Le candidature sono da effettuarsi entro il 13 dicembre 2013.

CERN’s Technician Training Experience, Switzerland
Have you recently graduated from a technical institute? Are you interested in working for one to two years in an international environment at the forefront of technology? Then you may be interested in CERN’s Technician Training Experience (TTE).
This is a pilot programme for technicians who are looking to get a great professional experience, either for their future career, or before their advanced studies.
CERN has recently introduced a pilot programme for technicians with the aim of making a wider public aware of the great opportunities in our Organisation for training and work experience in technical fields.
This programme welcomes applications from talented technicians who will have the opportunity to work in a diversity of fields at the cutting edge of technology: electronics, computing, vacuum, cooling and ventilation, electricity, radioprotection, survey engineering, building works are but a few of the examples of the many domains in which successful applicants will learn and contribute their knowledge.
- You are a national of a CERNMember State.
- You have a technical diploma in the field of mechanics, electro-mechanics, electricity or electronics.
- You have no more than 4 years relevant experience after finishing your diploma. Candidates who are currently preparing a diploma are eligible to apply. However, they are expected to have obtained their qualification by the time they take up their appointment at CERN.
- Applicants with a higher level diploma (BSc, MSc..) are not eligible.
You should have at least a basic knowledge of English or French.
Duration: An initial contract of one year renewable for a second year
Financial conditions:Your take-home pay will be around 3,500 Swiss francs (2,800 EUR) per month
Leave: You are entitled to 2.5 days paid leave per month
Insurance: You are covered by CERN’s comprehensive health scheme for yourself and your dependents
Travel expenses: You are entitled to travel expenses for yourself and your dependents (unless stipulated otherwise)
Depending on your circumstances, you may be entitled to an installation grant, family allowance and child allowance
The Housing Service can provide information to help you in your search for accommodation
Successful applicants will be assigned to a project with a supervisor
On-the-job and formal training will be provided at CERN. There are also in-house language courses for English and French.
